Summer Ferry Timetable in Force In force · Until Oct 4
The official summer timetable is valid from July 1 to October 4 2026. Separate schedules apply to the Como–Colico passenger and fast services, Bellagio–Lecco boats, and the mid-lake vehicle ferry.

10-Tonne Vehicle Limit on Ferries Active · From Aug 6
Because of the low water level, vehicles with a total laden mass above 10 tonnes are not permitted to board Lake Como vehicle ferries from August 6 until further notice.

The published summer timetable states that buying on board carries a €1 surcharge per passenger, luggage item or vehicle when the ticket office at the departure point is open. The surcharge does not apply when the ticket office is closed.

N5 Via T. Grossi Diversion Active · Until Aug 31
Line N5 towards Civiglio is diverted after Via Battisti via Viale Lecco, Via Dante, Via Dottesio, Via Fiume and Via Zezio before returning to its normal route. The Don Guanella stop is temporarily closed; request stops are available along the diverted route.

From Saturday August 8, line C143 terminates at the historic Ponzate terminus and no longer serves Via Libico Maraja. Urban line N5 returns to Civiglio V Alpini, using buses limited to 19 passengers and not equipped for wheelchair transport.
During an orange or red weather alert, N5 is limited again to the Brunate junction.

The ASF stop “Como – S. Rocchetto” in Via Gallio, towards Via Cavallotti and Viale Varese, is temporarily closed because of works. This affects all ASF lines serving the stop.
Nearest alternatives: Como – Santa Caterina, Como – Stazione San Giovanni, Como – Cavallotti (Agenzia Entrate) and Como – Garibaldi.

Milan Passante Closure Active · Aug 3–30
Milan’s Passante railway is closed for infrastructure works between August 3 and 30. Direct Milan–Como routes are not suspended by this closure, but connections through Repubblica, Porta Venezia and underground Porta Garibaldi are affected.

For infrastructure works, R13, RE8, selected R11 and S8 trains will not run between Lecco and Carnate from August 21 to 23 and again from August 28 to 30. Trains between Carnate and Milan continue with different train numbers.
Replacement shuttle buses will link Lecco and Carnate every 15 minutes, stopping at every station. Departures run from Lecco between 4:12 am and 10:12 pm, and from Carnate between 5:30 am and midnight. Bicycles are not permitted on the buses.
